Accent Orange (See Jane's Decor)

kate spade vases (wedding gift) + thrifted candlestick holders + my very cute nephew as a baby

Just because Halloween is over doesn't mean that orange, yellows and other rich harvest colors are to be tossed out the window.  I believe that colors reminiscent of sqashes, gourds and pumpkins should be embraced until Thanksgiving.  I love seeing my little gourds displayed on my coffee table and still can't resist a bright orange tulip to go alongside them.

I realize my decorating is quite minimal; someday I hope to go all out for holidays (I admire the fervor that my older sister has for holiday decorating).  Do you decorate for holidays?

I love fall colors!

I definitely do. But it can get expensive. And I like to buy shoes. So I am a minimalist as well. I am already brainstorming for decorating my x-mas tree.

I think you have to pick and choose your holidays that you decorate for. Halloween is my big decorating holiday and I tend to skip the rest. ~jen

I like the orange, a great pop of color! This is my first year I am going to attempt to decorate. I'm hoping to get a little crafty.

I prefer minimal holiday decor as well. Gourds are perfect for both Halloween and Thanksgiving and orange is my favorite color and great year-round! Such a fun, happy color. ;)

Love it! I still use pumpkins as decoration.

I totally agree- dark, deep, rich colors of autumn transition great into winter. I always say if I'm ever a gazillionaire, I'm totally spending a large portion of my wealth on holiday decor! Ha ha ha.

I love the gourds! So fun for the rest of fall, and they make a great table display.

Those Kate Spade vases are darling!

I do decorate for the holidays, and I look forward to it every year. My mom was really into it, and now that I have my own place, I'm really into it, too. I am so tempted to put my Christmas tree up now, but my fiance is making me wait until after Thanksgiving :)
